At Gustiamo, we all love to shop at our greenmarkets. The one close to me is open on Fridays and I rarely miss it. It is small, but it has everything: fish caught in Long Island, cheeses and dairy products, bread, eggs and, of course, the most beautiful vegetables. I buy enough for the week and seldom go to a supermarket. Well, I still need lemons. They don’t grow in NYS. Today, left, was a gorgeus fall day at my greenmarket and can’t wait to go home and grill the tuna steaks, caught yesterday in Montauk. With a drizzle of balsamic vinegar, the authentic one, they will make a very fine dinner. We think that you don’t need to be a great chef to prepare delicious meals; you only need the best ingredients. We buy them at Gustiamo.
