Santomiele

Santomiele is located in Prignano Cilento, a small village in Cilento, south of the Amalfi Coast. The farm was founded in the 1930s when Antonio Longo’s grandfather purchased a plot of land in Ogliastro, Cilento, near the archaeological ruins at Paestum, but fell into neglect when he passed away in the 1970s. Antonio took over the farm in the 1990s, with a mission to revive commercial production of the Dottato Bianco, which had almost disappeared. Antonio formed a co-op with the remaining producers, and continues the rich tradition of fig production, using the natural resources of his land to create delicious, unique treats.
