Funghi & Funghi

Funghi & Funghi is a family-run company founded in the 1990s by Gianni Carretta, a restaurateur and passionate lover of porcini in the town of Borgo Val di Taro, who wanted a supply of fresh porcini for his restaurant. In their traditional workshop, the company produces dried porcini, porcini sotto olio, porcini pasta sauce, even porcini-infused olive oil. Every year in mid-September, the nearby town of Albareto holds a national festival dedicated to the Borgotaro porcini. Luckily, thanks to the artisanal production of Borgotaro Funghi & Funghi, you can stock these prized funghi in your own pantry all year long.
