"Buonolio" Extra Virgin Olive Oil by Benza
Produced in Liguria by the Benza Family since 1853, Benza Frantoiano "Buonolio" extra virgin olive oil is made with monocultivar Taggiasca, the olive variety which most characterizes oil production in the province of Imperia.
Taggiasca olives produce an oil of extremely low acidity and balance. Liguria's gentle, temperate climate allows for an extended harvest time: olives are picked between November and February, before they reach full maturity and immediately enter the carefully monitored production cycle.
Benza "Buonolio" stands out for an exceptional low acidity, perfect balance and elegant notes of apple and dried fruit. An exquisite finishing oil, Benza is also perfect for cooking.
